seiko 5 sport srpj75 bests way to pre order

want to get one of these \ what,s the best way to do it .

not released till feb 2023 . order direct from england ? dont know about tax or vat and postage , could make a 450 euro watch over priced .

any advice or just suck it up if you want it .

Another option is to just wait a few months longer and buy a used one. There are a lot of flippers in this hobby of ours.

Maybe, but a bit risky. As in how much resale would be . buyers to profit gouge is probably the norm ?

It's a Seiko, not a Rolex. Last Seiko that I bought it was less than 6 months from the manufacturing date and about 1/3 of the hang tag price. Rare on ebay means there will be another one on next week. Sign up to WUS and after 50 posts you will be able to access the sales corner. Be patient.

I think it's over priced TBH look at how accurate it is.

For the spec it is most certainly is overpriced imo. When you click on the seiko boutique link that Ltd edition ones chapter rings misaligned lol too.

The current range of Seiko 5 stuff seems to be pretty good value at <€300, but some of the expensive special editions are very pricey for what they are.

To be fair, I have a 4R36 movement in one of mine and it's nowhere near as inaccurate as -35/+45 per day.

Seiko always seem to under estimate their accuracy.Spring drive is supposed to be + / - 1s per day .I tested mine and over 10 days it was perfect , not even 1s either way .It’s the only watch I’ve bothered checking over a period of time but after hearing how near perfect the accuracy was supposed to be , I was curious .
