HSE Clerical Officer - how & where to apply?

Hello everyone.

Does anyone have any info on how to go about applying for a clerical role in the HSE? ( I say, HSE specially not working through agency. )

Are these roles filled via recruitment campaigns like through Public Jobs.ie every year, or similar? Or how does the whole process work, for those on here working in clerical HSE jobs?

You can Email: talentpool@hse.ie to set up alerts for your preferred role.

Would you not go through an agency for now and then get experience as a clerical officer within the HSE then? It would really stand to you for the interview and competency questions.

Unrelated but the HSE is currently recruiting for Emergency medical controllers (Call takers for the National Ambulance Service) at present if it's of any interest, even if it was for interview practice.

I'm currently working as HSE agency staff as a Clerical Officer on a temp contract. I have three months contract currently under my belt.

I see! If I were you I'd apply to the Civil service as a CO/EO and have a look at your local county council website for CO/EO positions also! The further you cast your net the faster you'll get something! Plus the interview experience will stand to you!

Tusla is another option. I understand they are struggling to get clerical staff in the Dublin area
