    Hi

I am wondering anyone had knowledge can help me out here about the solicitor fee.

The case is I have to withdraw my purchase due to lost of my job and the new house will not be ready before xmas 2022.

The total flat legal fee was agreed at 3.5K (listed below) without stamp duty. do I have to pay all those fees below if I am not going to close the purchase? Especially for  Land Registry fee to register purchase deed ect?

Land Registry fee to register purchase deed

Land Registry fee to register mortgage deed

Land Registry fee to open new folio

    Closing searche

    Commissioners fees & Miscellaneous

    Professional fee -

     Thanks

Depends on the amount of work the Solicitor has performed so far.

Inform the solicitor that you are withdrawing and ask for an itemized bill. You can dispute any fees for work that was not completed prior to paying.
