Gas open fire and drafts

I have a gas open fire, it's about 12 years old and I think it's call "conventional flu" and just uses the existing chimney.

In winter when fire not on drafts come down the chimney and so the sitting room can be cold even with central heating on.

What would my options be to stop drafts coming down ? Are they some chimney caps that are effective at stopping down drafts ?

If I don't want to block chimney while not in use could the fire be converted to some type of closed system with a door on front ?
