Where do people usually find babysitters?

My youngest's creche was always a good start. If you look in your local supermarket, you'll often see adverts up. Check out childminding pages on Facebook for your local area, there's always people advertising there. And if all else fails, try Mindme.ie - there's a €20 charge though to sign up.

Is MindMe any good? €30 just to be allowed to contact a potential babysitter has put me off. I'm only looking for someone to do two hours maybe twice a week.
