Right shower

What is a good shower for one person living alone. My friend moved into a house where the water pressure is not great according to neighbours with showers. Te bathroom is upstairs and she wants it over the bath

I think the neighbours have mains fed, is that where it does not have a tank in the attic?

I read the "T90SR is a blissfully quiet running pumped electric shower, perfectly suited for use with low pressure water systems."

would that be good. How much would it be to buy have fitted etc? Plumber plus electrician.? Can one of them put up the curtain rail or does a third person need to be called?

One site says "Triton T80Z Mains Fed Electric Shower Supplied & Fitted €390" but its Dublin and she is not in Dublin

The installation price of €390 supplied & fitted is to replace an existing T80z. To get one in from scratch will be in the thousand euro area. Shower and materials cost more than €390 for a full installation.

I would suggest the Triton T90SR Pumped Electric Shower. This will be connected to the cold water tank in the attic rather than the mains. The main advantage with Pumped Electric is that it gives constant pressure. Mains pressure fluctuates throughout the day and night

Edit: either one might agree to put up the curtain pole but expect to pay plumber or electrician rates for the curtain pole. It might be cheaper to engage with a handyman for this. Simplist think is ask them on the day do they have time & how much will they charge. Personally I do showers and nothing else. No taps, washers, drips, no silicone around the bath etc. Absolutely nothing but showers
