I had an interview for the position of Clerical Officer recently and I received order of merit 7! I’m happy with this but unsure of how long I could be waiting to hear back? In general how long do these panels last? If anyone has any advice or has been through the process before it would be great to hear!

It depends what county you are in. They are hiring loads in my county at present though. I got in at the start of this year and I was in the late 20s on my panel. It took about 18 months to reach me.Since then though it seems to have speed up and they have hired two people who didn't even make the panel they were called up as they needed staff. So number 7 you should get in at some point I reckon.

Ring the councils hr recruitment section and talk to them. Panels can last from 1 year up to 2 was the longest I heard of
