MTB marathon / sportive type events

Hi all,

Have done the Cooley thriller a good few times (although missed it this year). Great event! Been keen to get down to Nire Valley drop but always clashed with something and then I didn't realise it moved to a summer event this year.

I know there is the gravel grinder in Fermanagh but I would be half interested but looking something with a bit more single track.

What events should I be looking out for? All recommendations appreciated!

I also see the Halloween Howl up in Donegal. That looks like a fun spin too

Yeah Cooley was at very short notice this year, gutted as I couldn't make it. Going to see if they know roughly the date for next year.

There used to be an event in the Burren, don't know if it still runs
