Hi! My partner is working in the UK for a UK company for next nine months. We are just wondering if he can get paid from his UK employer through his Bank of Ireland account, rather than going through the hassle if setting up a UK bank account, or can he use his Revolut account?

It is possible he will need a GB Iban if his payment is being set up as part of a bulk payment - not sure if he is employee for payroll (in which case bulk payment is often used) or a contractor. You would need to ask the company to confirm if the foreign IBAN is acceptable.

If he is being paid in sterling, and a non GB IBAN is ok, it might be a good idea to be paid into Revolut or similar, rather than a traditional Irish euro bank account, as I would expect he will likely get a better rate/pay less fees - but you should also look into that to confirm.
