    From here

OFCH kit needs to be replaced.

it is clear I have a problem with the location of the oil tank.

relocating it elsewhere in the garden is not practical due to a significant slope back away from the house and existing shed along the boundary.

We already use the 47 kg cylinders lpg for cooking.

so each cylinder has 650 kWh

say 1,000 litres of kerosene/pa is 10,000 kwh so 16 cylinders

    6 month heating: so c 3 a month

So a bank of 4 would work, we have two already.

    Not cheap

Don't think they could get a bulk tank in.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks as always

Oil tank is ment to be minimum 1.8m away from window, opening, vent, eves and other sources of ignition, please tell me you're oil tank I'd not behind that timber fencing, on top of boiler hut next to window below those eves ?
