Flight moved options

    Hi all,

    We received an email yesterday to say that our Aer Lingus return flight from Lanzarote has been moved from 7pm to 11am.

    Essentially it means that we lose the final day of our short break. First world problems etc!

    I don't expect refunds yesterday but has anyone had any experience of dealing with Aer Lingus on this matter? I'd be happy to stay on a day and get the flight the next day (scheduled for 7pm) if they allowed us to move?

    what options were outlined in the email? did you call them to discuss?

    No options in the email. I haven't called them to discuss but will do so.


    Before I do, I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this to get a heads-up.

    Move to following day, they should facilitate it. We're facing same thing with a flight to Rome in November.

    From the Aer Lingus website :


    From time to time, flights that you have booked will need to be changed or cancelled for reasons like weather, operational issues, air traffic restrictions or technical difficulties. If this happens you will receive a communication from us detailing your options.


     



    If your itinerary has been affected by a significant change and this new itinerary does not suit you, please contact us to discuss alternatives options.
