Regionally across the 32 counties different sports have their heartlands and also where their not so strong, traditionally Rugby was in the cities , GAA was very strong in rural parts, soccer was strong in Housing estates in urban areas. What are the strongest sports in peoples counties thse days in terms of general interests ie attendance and participation with high standard of competitions .

I would start the Ball rolling in Kerry by saying Gaelic Football is top sport by a country mile and after that one of Soccer-Basketbball-Hurling be the second biggest sport.

Next Door in Limerick Rugby & Hurling be the top two sports with soccer a honourable third .

Is there any counties with something outside of Rugby/Soccer/GAA as top sport ie Basketball - what counties is GAA/Rugby/Soccer weakest ??
