When applying for a job would you put down the details of a current position if you are only there for 4 months? if not, would some employers feel you have something to hide?

I would put it down and then give a fair reason why you wish to leave if asked

If you don't put it down, you'll be asked what you are doing now. Then the next question is why that's not on your CV.

No point leaving it off. Just be ready to explain why you are moving so soon (and if you're not asked, then find the opportunity to explain it anyway, as they will be wondering why, and if a reason isn't offered, they will silently assume the worst).
