    Has anyone ever visited Kaliningrad Oblast?

    I've always been fascinated by the place. And have always found it curious that lots of people aren't even aware of it (just going by my circle of friends/acquaintances).

    It must be one of the least discovered parts of central Europe.

    Would love to hear of peoples experiences traveling there.

    I saw on a travel programme a good while back that it has a far more European feel than even other Russia cities in Europe.

    But travel to anywhere in the Russian Federation isn't exactly a good idea atm.
