We are hiring ! - or Jobs with super low salaries for unsuspecting foreigners?

Just wondering, are these applicants for these roles already living in Ireland? Or are they to be hired directly from overseas?

Are they aware that any salary below 40 K will be a more than meager life in Dublin?

Imagine a life for 26 or 29K in Dublin? If that's even possible? What are employers thinking? Do they think they get long term and qualified employees?

Or are these roles only for 3 to 6 months, to get experience in another foreign country?

A bit of both. Some offer progression opportunities. Other are basic call centre jobs which people use to get a start in the country.

Fyi, People starting work in many government or state-funded jobs start on just under 25k. They manage.

What I am saying is nobody stays long for such a salary if there isn't progression or the prime objective is learning English, and then leave again.

Agreed. And that's not a bad thing. Low paid jobs are not supposed to be a job for life.

I'd say Sigmar recruitment or cpl.ie are making a fortune for placing candidates continuously to those organizations. It seems a pretty secure business.

Internationals from Germany tend to stay the shortest in these jobs, those from Southern Europe stay longer, - it all depends on the economic situation at home.....
