Restaurant closing for Renovation for a week and everyone is being told they have to take Annual leave during the period.

Can Management force you to do this?

    • Depends , these are the conditions on citizen info. " Take into account your family responsibilities, as well as the available opportunities for rest and recreation.
    • Discuss your annual leave with you (or your union) at least one month before you are to take the leave.

Would you prefer to be on unpaid leave?

Nothing new in a business closing for a holiday period.
