I was just having a conversation with a colleague and wonder what you guys think ,

Someone we know came into 300 grand cash, so they have that on top of some decent savings,

They currently rent with 2 kids & Wife & one on the way,

They can't afford to buy a house in Dublin he simply he doesn't earn enough money he's only on about 40 grand a year, & the missus works part time,

They are thinking about just buying a 3/4 bedroom house straight up somewhere in rural Ireland and just up and moving , He said he would look for jobs when he decided where about he wants to go or when he actually moves, Thinks he might go to the outskirts of Cork, Galway or Kilkenny

i think its sound's incredibly risky ,especially in the current climate, my colleague reckons if it was him he'd just up and go to

Just wondering what you guys would do in his situation
