For anyone who follows this... Do you think it's real or made up? Also noticed they virtually never seem to take on money diaries for people on less than 30k or those on disability benefits etc., so feel like certain people are under represented.

I doubt they are made up, they are far too boring for that.

There have been a few with big salaries and the commenters can't comprehend that these folks exist. There have been a fair few under 30k as well btw

    The most recent three are:

    37k

    31k

    27k

    All seem real to me.

I know someone who did one. It was, depressingly, entirely true.

However, one of the re-reg twats on here claimed to have submitted some absolutely ludacriously hairshirt one. Never checked if it was published - it was too nuts to pass any tests I hope.

If I did one, it would depend on the week as to whether it was considered fake or not I think. There's weeks where I'm mostly WFH and spend virtually nothing by accident; and others where no care is given as to whats bought. I'd say they prefer the no **** given ones.

Less than 20% of diaries are under 30k, not that many at all actually

When you look at the mean and median wages, that's not that surprising.

I'd love to see one with a farmer or some other self employed people to give people like me with a salary/wage an idea of things.. I'd also like to see someone who doesn't give a f**k and goes to the bookies/pub whatever every other day.

    Everyone knows.

If you are born in inner city Dublin

    you are stigmatised.
