Has anyone fitted, or have had fitted, an Opentherm thermostat with hot water control e.g. Nest/Tado in a S-plan heating circuit with an Ideal Logic System boiler - the thermostat uses Opentherm to modulate the boiler for heating and standard on/off control to fire the boiler for the hot water cylinder.

Hi there, I'm just looking into this myself. Do you have the opentherm harness for the boiler?

Not sure what you mean by 'opentherm harness for the boiler'

Ignore that, my boiler was missing the connector block for the opentherm.

I have actually fitted a Nest E with my Ideal Logic Combi boiler and set it to use Opentherm. You need to be careful though as I have TRVs on all my rads and a separate zone for upstairs and downstairs, when the valves were all closed but there was still the signal for heat Ideal boilers can't modulate well at all below 40c so the boiler would begin short cycling. I had to make sure all valves were open so the system could shed the heat and the flow temp would stay at about 45c.
