The BROWNEST bike in Ireland! Built this as a project recently and have done ZERO miles since the build....well, I went up and down my street, to make sure nothing would fall off, but that was it!

Perfect for commuting or taking off on a tour of this lovely island.

2018/19 Kona Rove aluminium frameset 54x54 ctc, with the following parts fitted:

New Sensah Empire 1x9 drive-train (shifters with Promax cross-top additional brake levers, 11/42 cassette, rear derailleur, chainset with 42-tooth ring) Have a 30-something ring if preferred by the buyer.

New SRAM chain (quieter than Shimano IMO).

    New metal MTB pedals.

New wheels, with new discs, new rimtape, new tubes and new Schwalbe Little Big Ben 700x38c brown tyres.

    New force clamp-on rear rack.

New Tektro brake caliper with new pads.

All new stainless cables with Gold Jagwire reinforced casing.

New Brooks leatherette bartape, brown naturally.

Used Old Man Mountain front pannier rack, McGyvered on with a couple of mudguard brackets.

Original KONA branded seatpost, handlebars and stem.

There's a San Marco rolls saddle fitted from the 80s (as my ar5e gets on well with them, since 1984) but I can supply something more modern/comfy if preferred.

Bike is located in the wilds of Co Waterford, can deliver/meet on the road/you can collect if you fancy a spin to the land of the blaa.

No point in it sitting in the shed, when it should be enjoyed by somebody, and frankly, I have waaaaaaaay too many fu(king bikes!

    €550 ono.

Thanks for looking, feel free to ask if you have any questions.

    P.

In typical boards style i will throw in a low ball offer of €475 but would need the bike delivered to the Dublin area. There is no panic on my end so you can leave the ad up for another while yet and you can wait and see if a better offer comes around.

It was hard work climbing on the stock gearing, but my rove was my first dabble into Gravel. Managed to get around the Lakelander on it! It's now my commuter and pretty bullet proof (going to be my ebike conversion).

In atypical boards style, I will indeed accept your lowball offer of €475, on the condition that you throw in an additional €25 (as your share of the diesel cost) to drop it to you from sunny Waterford, bringing your total expenditure to €500, hence making you the proud owner of the brownest bicycle in Ireland... 😉

PM me to make arrangements for transport if these terms and conditions are acceptable.

    Cheers,

    P.
