Air Corps. Probably practising for the Bray Air Show on this weekend.

According to adsb exchange, a military helicopter did a loop there over cabinteely park before going out to the Irish sea.

There is another fixed wing military aircraft doing circuits just south of dun laoghaire over the sea too in the same area.

Maybe someone is suspected of getting into difficulty in the water and they've been asked to assist?

Edit: practice for the air show is more likely as noted above.

2 Air Corps AW139 & 1 EC135, FYI FR24 is terrrible & will not show everything, you will see way more here: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/

You could hardly call FR24 terrible. It was not designed to track military and while already very good it is constantly improving in terms of what it covers and where. It is maybe worth recalling that sophisticated flight-tracking sites only date back a dozen years or so. ADS-B, while capturing more activity, is actually less user-friendly but then it is not trying to outdo FR24 in other respects.

Rangers were assaulting/training with Stena Estrid during the week. If this is the case here 2 139's with Rangers for the assault and the 135 top cover with a sniper.
