Is it true that if you ever quit your job that you will not be allowed to enter any Paddy Power shop ever again?

Not sure how they could police that.

If your a mug punter you will be allowed in but if youve a bit of a brain and can get bet in a disiplined manner you arent allowed in!

No, how on earth would they police that? if they barred anyone without a job the brick and-mortar shops would all be closed in weeks.

Now, if you sign up online and start putting 500 quid on horses or running a few grand a week through the slots they are legally obliged to ask you for your source of funds. they would suspend you and then maybe ban you or force you to self exclude if you can't present a payslip that would make that level of play a harmless pastime. Brick and mortar shops should really tighten up, I could show you a few lads who lose their dole in Paddys a few hours after getting it. I lasted 6 weeks working live chats for Paddy and still have nightmares all related to abuse from lads when we closed their accounts because they were losing hundreds a week on Paddy and giving us a bank statement in overdraft.
