    Asking for a friend... Honest.

Is there any off public road driving lesson centre in cork?

A friend is looking to get their 15½yr old driving lessons, but obviously the child doesn't have a learner's permit, nor can they drive on the public road .

I remember seeing something on the TV about a private track set up with lights , junctions etc, but I think it was in Meath/ Kildare or Dublin.

Munster driving campus in Cork I presume is still going.

The southern equivalent of the Leinster one outside of Maynooth

If you’re in west Cork, Bantry Driving Academy is another offroad option.
