    Hello

Please share your experiences of Small claims court - how to prepare, what is dress code etc.

Taking refrigeration company to Small claims court for faulty equipment installed in my apartment, hearing in the end of July.

    Thanks

Have all your info in front of you plus copies for the judge and copies of any legislation that you are referring to also available for the judge and the other party.

State the facts, what you paid for, what happened or didn't happen & then the cost/loss involved to you. €2000 limit in SCC. Keep it brief, don't waffle, don't exaggerate or spoof.

Dress smart, not casual and address the judge as judge, sir or ma'am. Its quite informal as courts go, but its a court of law none the less.
