What's the deal with letting these people on the radio to reveal to the general public just how boring their lives are stuck in traffic and to let us know their going to head home and kick off their shoes before opening a bottle of pinot ffs.

Are presenters gone this lazy that this is their fall back option to let some nobody drone on about how their favourite colour is pink and how their biggest embarrassing moment was when they tucked their dress into their knickers at their debs.

The worst offenders seem to be today fm and classic hits, dermot and dave and colm and Lucy we're looking at you, most of them definitely don't have a voice for radio and most definitely aren't as funny as they think they are, rant over

Yes they are that lazy, it's pulling in content that they don't have to pay for or put any work into and that the presenters can laugh moronically at (D&D)

I thought it was just Joe Duffy at this nonsense (most of which are utterly staged and unbelievable as well as being embarrassing)

Don't listen to commercial stations so wasn't aware this was a phenomenon elsewhere.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

I actually first heard references to WhatsApp voice notes on the radio on Classic Hits sister station Radio Nova.

The worst are the guys, who send in stupid voice notes while putting on a ridiculous voice, thinking they're the Brad Pitt of Longford... "yeah.. how's it goin there Tracey.. oh yeah" . Cringe inducing garbage

As for the moronic laughing by Dermot and Dave mentioned above.. glad to see I'm not the only one. I instantly turn off when them insufferable gobshites come on the radio, fake laughing like an AK47. Play some music an stfu thanks
