    Hello ,

Helping a friend who has inherited a lot of very little used ladies designer fashion items in excellent condition , many purchased from Brown Thomas ; handbags , shoes , clothes , scarves etc. Brands include Louis Vitton , Dior , Jimmy Choo , Max Mara , Marco Moreo , Russell Bromley etc

Where would be the best place to sell these ?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the best places but popular places to sell clothes are depop - an app you need to download and you'll also need PayPal and then there's eBay. I believe both take a small fee per each item sold.

Thanks for those suggestions , wasn't aware of Depop so will check it out , have PayPal , Ebay might be an option , afaik they've split from Paypal these days.

I did also wonder whether there were any shops that take in such stock , would travel a bit if necessary.

Ppl sell both cheap and expensive bits on depop. I use it and had one issue where you can claim to get your money back if there's a thief but 99% of the time I've never had an issue. I'm sure there are other sites/apps, I'm just not aware of them.

I'm afraid I don't know of shops that take them, that's not to say they don't exist, I'm just not aware of them.

Try Be Fabulous on Catherine Street or Ivory closet on Shannon Street. I know they do rentals so they may not buy off you but maybe they'll showcase for a commission?

Try Vestiaire online. That's a great site for buying and selling designer stuff, as is HEWI ( stands for hardly ever worn it ) although prices are often higher on HEWI.

Both sites are known for selling authenticated goods so you can get a decent price when selling.
