    Hi all,

Is it common to get notification after your Activation Review Meeting? The officer rang me out of the blue with no prior notification. When the call was finished I got a notification from mywelfare to notify me of the call I had just had. Aren't notifications supposed to be before not after ?

They can be any way the department want , Notifications can be either by letter, call or through mywelfare to be honest and when it suits the officer your dealing with. Notification through mywelfare portal could be delayed for technical reasons.

Thanks for answering, just I only got the email 10 minutes after call ended notifying me of the notification in mywelfare, and the notofication in my welfare had today's date. I'm assuming if I hadn't answered say if I was in a Doctor's appointment for example they could have sanctioned me.

A no, they'd at least try a few times, was the review, face to face or over the phone, I'm a little confused 🤔 I've seen occasion were numbers withheld and in the current climate people are understandably nervous with spam, phising calls etc 🤔 During the pandemic, to be fair numbers were not withheld for this reason but they were using an office in Dublin for touching base with people on PUP

Thanks again , yes it was over the phone. This is the second one I've had but the first one I was given 1 weeks notice with a time of AM so at least I could prepare for them properly. This time was totally caught off guard flustering and trying to remember where the last position I applied for was based etc. A wee bit of notice would have been nice so I could have had all my things pulled up to be able to discuss with them .😀
