Not christmas as such but if you like crochet you should check out the postcards with love cal. Its hosted on the king cole faceb00k page and it's a joy to do. Lovely bright cheery colours. Even a bit of mosaic in it for you.

I've come to the realisation that Christmas Crochet needs to start in about August - there's no point in thinking mid- November, I'll make a throw. Or at least not if you crochet as slowly as I do 😋 If you crochet super fast, you'll probably have two done by December 25th 😀

Don't say that 🙈. I have the kit for attic 24 yuletide blanket. I had some mad idea that I'd start it in December and do it as a sort of advent project. Although the last rows are the biggest so I'm not sure how that will work out. I did read that book the Christmas mystery for two years running with my kids as an advent thing and they loved it. It also gave me an excuse to sit down. December can be manic

That's a lovely idea! Definitely do it! I'm ok doing small Christmas projects in December but I only get to crochet for about an hour a day when the kids are in bed so a large throw takes me ages! I'd still be doing it in March 😅 I have in my mind this year to try and do a crochet crib.

I found another one that's specifically designed as an advent project. Which might be more manageable. It was part of a calendar from 2021 but all the patterns are still available. The original balls were only 33 g afaik, so it should be easy to stash bust leftovers as long as they were all similar ply

I will be attempting these marine ply reindeer. I expect them to be rough an ready as I have a rough jig saw and will be using the garden table as a bench.

That's the plan, I am sure they will look and act more like a wonky donkey when I make them. They can also be painted so may do that with the wee elf.

Knitting gold bells as Christmas cards and for the gate... Sending for small bells for the insets! I used to sell a lot at Christmas Markets and fairs... I will take photos later... a bell and a personal note rather than a card...
