Mens Group in Dublin

I read the rules in the sticky and I didnt see anything that covers the below (and if this does breach another rule I sincerely apologies - mods please feel free to remove!)

A few of us have set up a mens group in Dublin to organise events that are an alternative to the bar/club/sauna culture that is there and a chance to give other men a chance to meet each other in a non sexual social setting. We are called The Dublin Mens Group (www.dublinmensgroup.com) and we meet once a fortnight usually in Outhouse but we also have a few other activities coming up including a gay history of Dublin 8, coffee and chat on Coming Out, A Scavanger Hunt (all you need is imagination and a mobile phone).

Most events are free or there is a €1 to €2 donation (some like the walking tour we always gently encourage to tip the guide for his time but thats an exception)

It started two and a half years ago after a friend was tired of the usual clubs and bars and wanted something different and it was born. We get 15-30 blokes at the meet ups and it all goes through meetup.com. In the past we have had talks from Married Men who came out and gave a talk about their experience and a Sex Worker who at 72 talks about his experiences.

The group is set to private. We welcome bi, gay, trans, non binary male presenting or curious men. There is nothing sexual in what we do, we are a gang of lads who like banter and chat. All nationalities are welcome, while the language of the group is English we try to accommodate other men who might speak other languages (Spanish ,Arabic and French are all covered by other members!).
