Why don't you think it fits ???

    They're the same engine.

The engine fitting in is one thing. Will it work is quite another. Sensors, actuators and injection equipment could be configured differently and even though everything looks physically identical and perfect, it might not start. You'd want to be very careful too as connecting up a physically identical or very similar but electronically alien piece of hardware to the system could blow the whole control system when you try to start it, and you'd be left with a plus sized paperweight. I wouldn't put anything in there that doesn't rightfully belong there.
