    As the title says

    Decent prices for flights there and we will be travelling with a four year old

    So been years since I've been there staying in dodgy hostel but now thinking heading with family so looking for tips, things to see and do and places to stay mid range won't be luxury just a break for us

    I'd consider checking out accommodation out on the Lido di Jessolo from where you can pop into Venice or tour the islands by ferry.

    Big long beach, dotted with hotels and campsites/mobile home parks. Bus runs the length of the lido from ferry at Punta Sabbioni up to Cavallino

    Just an example;
