    Hi,

I primarily live in the USA at the moment but and from Cork. We have a home in Cork which we will stay in for a month or two per year.

Are there any short-term contract options for home broadband?

Or pay as you go options?

    Thanks for any advice!

Virgin Media have this on a 30 day contract but note you are unlikely to get 250 mb in practice with the router they supply.

Another option is get a PAYG phone with unlimited broadband for €30 a month and use it as a wifi hotspot.

Thanks odyssey06. Any idea what the data rates you could get with those are?

We would need to do video conference calls reliably.

I think VM would be better option for video call, faster and more stable. I have used VM for work and it was grand inc teams video calls though the speeds were not what was promised if you needed gaming speeds.

Three have a 30 day contract for €30/month but you need your own router

Three have €20 PAYG - no contract,

you still need your own router/phone for hotspot
