Working for the Legal Aid Board?

Hi, just wondering if anyone could provide any info on what its like to work for the Legal Aid Board as a CO. How pressurised is it? Can it be difficult dealing with clients? How flexible are they in terms of annual leave, work share, shorter working year and career breaks?
If anyone has any experience of working with them or know of someone who did I would be really grateful for any info.
