Hi I've 3 kids- twins aged 6 and an 18month old baby, looking for a suitable car so all 3 can fit in the back. Would do around 20000 miles annually

An audi q5 takes 3 seats across the back. A friend of mine drives one.

Would depend on the seats! It’s not as roomy as id like. Superb estate or an mpv

    Sorry forgot to say that.

Have 20k but willing to get a loan and go to 40k if right car available. Like something reliable, currently driving a 08 Honda accord last 10 years never gave any bother. Don't normally change cars too often looking for some value that I could keep for 8+ years and I would be out of child seats so wouldn't be as limited

If you need 3 individual seats across the back then your going to be limited to the likes of an MPV or certain crossovers. Cars like the Superb estate will not fit 3 child seats across the rear. You would fit two on the outside but won't manage the middle seat with the others in the way.

    Something like a Renault Scenic:

Also there is very little in the way of value these days in the used car market, used cars have gotten very expensive due to Brexit as well as new cars getting more expensive and scarce due to part shortages.

There are several examples of three across in a superb in the rear facing car seat group on facebook.

if I had three myself though I’d definitely get aN mpv. With individual seats and sliding doors.

    How about an Ioniq 5,

Here it is with 3 child seats in the back.

You might need to be short if you are the driver do and maybe it will not do the range for you no idea there.

    It has a good range.

    Peace and long life.

Depends on your Budget and age of car you want.

The C4 Grand Pisaco and Peugot 5008 could suit your needs.

I can highly recommend a Ford S-Max, has three full size isofix seats on the second row that are all on individual rails. Also a handy feature, you can leave the child seat in position and still pull the seat back to gain access to the 3rd row of seats. It has loads of storage space and low floor in the boot for easy loading of buggies and shopping etc. the boot is also massive with the 3rd row down. Try to get an auto and as high a spec as possible. I just traded mine into Used Direct Ireland [Charles Hurst] It is the top spec Vignale Trim, every possible extra and is AWD. Was a fantastic family car for my 3 kids. Please feel free to DM me with any questions on the car if your interested in it.
