Just wondering, I'm with Flogas and only got 178 of a government credit. Anyone else the same? Is this correct?

    it's 200 minus VAT

It is ~€176.22 + vat = €200.. and the vat rate was recently cut from 13.5% to 9%

think we got €200 gross payment into ours

The payment is inclusive of Vat so whilst €200 is given it includes vat at the rate it was when approved by government (13.5%), I believe. Vat has since been reduced to 9% on utility bills .

I'm not sure how flogas bills are presented but on my EI bill there's no mention of the credit apart from the Vat Breakdown for the credit applied. I got it , just not showing apart from Vat part , odd but that's how it's presented on EI bills.

Electric Ireland here and I got the same €192.08

Same. Originally got the €200 over a month ago but it's been amended now to €192.08. Is that not strange that when it was paid it was paid at the correct VAT rate but now in retrospect of the new VAT rate, the companies have taken that money back?

I was fairly sure I'd seen it as €200 when it first came in, so logged in to screenshot it to contradict the post above mine, but then saw it at the €192.08 value!!!

I'm baffled by how this credit is being applied, my bill is from last month, credit was applied but shows nowhere and I'm not even sure how much credit was applied , the only mention of it was in the vat breakdown section. Indeed it looks like they've worked out vat on €176.22 rather than the €200 promises 🤔

You got the full €200, yet those billed after 09/05 get a measly €192.08. It feels less

Sits still in my account as a credit , when will it be used ????

Confused, are you prepay or account?

If prepay and your contuing to top up the credit remains, it starts to be used if you don't top up, if bill pay pay it doesn't sit anywhere, your outstanding balance reduces 🤔

    No im not

Difficult to get monthly payments together , account is almost 600 in credit , every two months give them meter readings and monthly payments gone up again this month

Thieves they are and if they are doing that with everyone they will get a lot of interest over the total amount of all of their costumers

think to myself i wished it was a prepay account then i would have received it

    No your not what 🤔

Of your bill pay and not on direct debate why are you struggling to put payments together, your in credit, let the credit run down. Your provider can see your in credit you currently owe nothing and likely won't fir a while.

The increasing prices are a series matter but I agree they are increasing.
