    going to see this tonight - not watched any of the series or last movie.. hope I won't be lost

    just going with a buddy - sure why not

    I went to see it at the weekend having never watched even one episode and I really enjoyed it. I did see the first film but again, I went into that completely ignorant aswell so you may well really enjoy this sequel knowing absolutely nothing about what preceded it.

    was a bit bored but enjoyed the 2nd half - twas humble.. and had no prob following it.. real fans seem to love it which is great.. TV series movies are often poor

    I cant imagine seeing it without knowledge of all the backstories, seems a bit pointless.

    It is good though, I enjoyed it. Its very light and fluff plot but just enjoyable.

    i think I got all the back stories... twas easy to read between the lines.. eg: was v obv the butler was gay from the get go.. "if there's anything you need" lol
