Hello, I'm looking at selling a house I have in Dublin and I require some assistance from an accountancy firm. The property was purchased in 2004 and was our primary residence until we emigrated to Australia in 2012. Since then it's been rented. Rental returns via ros.ie have been lodged and uptodate. The tenants have recently vacated and I'm weighing up whether to renovate and rent or sell.
I'd like some support around what sort of capital gains tax I would be liable to pay. Message me directly if interested
