12 inch trailer rim where to buy.

I’m looking for a rim 12 inch pcd 140mm 5 stud. Only place I found online was independent suspension in Belfast but would be over €100 by the time I have it.

I tried phone bashing a few places and a lot of online sites can anyone steer me to a supplier thanks.

You could try phoning Agrigear in Bailieborough. I got a 4 stud 12inch rim and tyre from them a couple of years ago to replace one that was damaged.

There's a lad from Armagh on donedeal, he'll sell you rim only or with tyre, courier it out. Nearly as well to get one with tyre as it'll be another e15-20 for a tyre place to swap over.

I've read somewhere that the 140mm PCD is what Indespension uses. I think Ifor Williams and most others use 6.5".

You'll do well to find it. Indespension don't use that anymore that im aware of. Perhaps people are confusing 139.7 x 4 with 5 stud 140.

(Ifor use only 3 stud patterns. 100x4 on small quad type trailers. 139.7 x 4 on all other 4 stud and any 5 stud is then 165.1 x 5 otherwise known as Land rover studding)

5 stud 140 was common particularly on woodchippers, Bradley used that PCD quite a bit.

Mefro in Germany manufactured them and when they were bought by a bigger company they streamlined their product list and 5 x 14p got the chop. This is why it's hard get hold of.

I am pretty sure SOACH in France still have supply of 140 x 5 in a Chinese rim. I know they definitely still do them in 14"

Any of the places mentioned, Auto and trailer, trailerstuff and trailer spares won't have them.

You'll have to get it on thw continent if you're going to find it

You also need to clarify if it is 4j 4.5j 5j or 6j and also the size of the stud ie, 12mm or 14mm s there were 2

This is the width of the rim. What is the tyre size?

If you're adamant that the one indespension have in Belfast is correct, you can call Shay or Kieran in Indespension Limerick too. They will have access to all the same stock as Belfast

An update there and thanks for peoples feedback. I rang Limerick indespension and the lady I was talking to said the wheel was obsolete.

Its 4.5j.

Yeah I know but you need to look harder. You rang a lady in Limerick, when did anyone ever get a hard to get part from a lady?

Do you know the radius of your wheel stud centres? If in doubt take another wheel into Limerick and get one of the lads there to measure it. They are available in Belfast, but probably not listed on the computer the lady looked at.

A hard what from a lady? Are you saying the woman I was talking to was talking to was not capable of doing her job or something? Or that I would have to talk to a man to verify as we can’t trust her or incompetence perhaps?

I don’t need to go to Limerick as I know the measurements of the wheel, as said in previous posts it’s a 12 inch wheel, 4.5j and pcd 140mm.
