Paid €15 at automated pay station in Dublin City Council Recycling Centre, Ringsend yesterday and transaction appears as payment to "Veitch Family Holdings"

    Any explanation for that?

DCC don't operate the recycling centre, Panda do - they're owned by a global investement firm so could have any sort of odd financial structure

However - is this with a bank or a fintech operator like Revolut? The latter often has hilariously wrong details for transactions, e.g. my employer kept showing up in lieu of a nightclub elsewhere because we had a very, very vaguely similar address.

I paid with PayPal Business Debit Card, however your explanation that Panda run the centre probably explains it.
