Installing multifuel stove in timber framed house with no chimney

I want to install a multi fuel stove in a timber frame house (built 22 years ago), semi-detached, with no chimney. I want to do so as the gas is LPG and it's very expensive - underground tank for estate. However, I've been quoted 2k for installation of stove and 950 for Mourne multi-fuel stove. The flue for the stove has to go up through an overhead bedroom, and into the roof. Is 2k excessive for installation. Also, I know that stoves now have to be professionally installed - what paperwork do I need, and are their particular qualifications should I look for.
