    1.50 Windsor GREY GALLEON ~ 7/1 e/w

Getting on now at eight,, Roger Teal's grey is still in good form though, going on his 1.25lgth loss over 6f at Southwell lto,, He's a two time winner over 6f on turf, and it will be his first time in a long time to tackle this basement grade Class 6 on turf,,, He won last time he tried 6f on grass, which was way back in July 2020 at Bath,, has been punted the last few times, without winning, so he must be in form. Going is currently gd to sft, but I reckon it'll get better, and top of the ground should be ideal imo

GREY GALLEON was a non-runner, leff, you gotta pick another one for today 😅

It's hard to read the cards these days when half of the runners are coming back from winter break and the other half have a/w form which not guaranteed to transfer onto the turf now.

Two for me today to keep me entertained: Windsor 3:30 Ooh Is It 4/1 who seems to be back in form based on his last near miss in Wolves, and in 5:10 Iconique 15/2 a stab in the dark more or less, she won off mark 64 but had 70+ rated to frank that form, so current rating of 68 should be within reach, both e/w.

Iconique placed, no luck with the other.

Grey Galleon entered at Bath this Sunday in a Class 6 over the extended 5f/almost 6f trip of 5f 160yds.. he's a CD winner there from July 2020, also in a Class 6.. looks to be his 1st time in a Class 6 on turf since that course win, which was also his most recent ,, he's gone close a few times in Class 4s and 5s on turf without winning since then,, likes to chase the pace, and will hope for a low draw for him, if declared, as it looks as if lower is better when racing prominent

Will know more on Friday,, was a non lto because of a tyre blow out 😂 doesn't sound too unreasonable, but I'll hold a more optimistic view and put it down to: he was ready to go, but there was a little unwanted juice in ground last week at Windsor,, ground is good-gd to firm in places, so should be ideal,,, think he's more a summer horse as his three wins have come in July (twice) and August,,

    HARD !
