This is what annoys me about this rule.

JGP hit him shoulder to head.It burst marmions nose and he looks rattled. could have been red but wasnt, thats another debate.

Why is it when we card a player for a shot to the head that the recipient isnt sent for a HIA? Your effectively saying we know you took a shot to the head that warrants a sanction, but we dont think you need to get checked.

(in this care marmion should also be off for blood)

Funny the TMO can spot the smallest of infringements going one way but missing the try scorer being ahead of the ball at the ruck.

Officiating has been poor tonight all round! Both teams at the end of a few bad calls!

On JGP, yeah with the laws the way they are it’s a red everyday and I don’t know how the ref didn’t see that! But….. the decision to give a yellow is exactly how I think head contact should be approached to begin with! Not every head contact is dangerous and a yellow is more than enough for instances like that IMO!
