    Lake district is glorious.

    Cornwall is lovely.

New Forest in Hampshire is great.

If you want to stay in Center Parcs, go to the one in Ireland. They'll all be the same, ... and overpriced.

How small are your kids? If they are old enough to go for an hour or two's walking then I'd suggest the lake district.

If they're still in prams/buggies this may not be practical although there are still some wonderful drives and boat trips on lakes etc that you can do.

Cornwall is probably a bit like Kerry but without the mountains (and the multitude of scattered cottages). Many beautiful beaches and lots of activities for kids. It does get very busy particularly during the school holidays so if you could avoid those it would be more enjoyable.

The New Forest also gets busy in the summer but it is possible to find quiet parts. If your kids are young it's a great place for camping as you get the new forest ponies wandering into the campsites.
