Mandatory sick pay

    Well, it looks as if mandatory sick pay is finally being introduced for all employees. It'll be 70% pay.... 3days in 2022, then increasing to 10days by 2026. Surely this is a GOOD / proper development bringing us more-or-less in line with most European Countries. There were many stories at beginning of pandemic of employees going to work even knowing they were symptomatic ......financially, sick days were a major blow....... hopefully, this new system will eradicate this issue of people turning up at work who clearly shouldn't be.
