Sore legs

Had covid about 10 days ago. Was very ill. Am back to work now but still very tired. This isn't my biggest worry as I assume it will pass. I am crippled with pains in my knees and thighs, to the point when I stand up first I cannot move at all for a minute. I always had the odd twinge in my knees but this is on a whole new level. Has anyone experienced this?

    Thanks.

I have not experienced this personally but my sister did experience what sounds like similar leg problems after she had Covid. A few months on and she is fine now. If I were you, I would contact your GP to ask for advice.

Thanks for reply golfwidow. I did speak to my GP and she assured me it can be a side effect of covid to get muscular pain but mine is very bad so I am worried this might be long term. Glad to hear your sister is fine now.
