Baggage charges Air France

Hi, booking an All Inclusive holiday to Dominician Republic for the end of October. Ive priced with Travel Agents and individually. Im wondering if anyone knows what the baggage fees are to check in a bag with Air France? The route is Dub-CDG-PUJ.

One agent gave a rate with all checked baggage and transfers included and some without. Im also pricing booking everything independently and trying to figure out the hidden fees to see if its worth doing that.

Any advice would be great. Thanks

Just go through the booking process for the flights you want, and you'll be told the baggage charges at some point, surely?

It depends on the fare you book. If you book a "light" fare, then everything is extra, including advance seat selection and checked bags (probably around €80 each way). If you book a "standard" ticket then you get a free checked bag and can pick seats. The standard fare usually isn't much more than the light fare, so if you are planning on checking bags, it will almost always work out cheaper to book the standard fare, so you should use that fare for your comparison

Thanks All. Unless i'm totally missing something that link isnt giving me the cost. The flights were hundreds more expensive to book direct as opposed to an agent that skyscanner gave and it would only tell me the price for the short haul tickets which was 60e

As it happens I ended up booking via the travel agent as it looked to work out around 50e different and id pay that for the convenience alone in having it all done and the ability to do a payment plan.

Its been a while since I flew Air France long haul and at that time there wasnt the several fare options there are now
