How to fix logbook error? (999g/Km CO2)

    Hello

    Has anyone been able to fix a clerical error on the log book regarding the CO2 emissions?

    I recently bought a 2017 car that was originally a UK import and only noticed that is currently taxed on the engine capacity at €710. However the certified CO2 emissions of the car are 124g/Km according to a photocopy of the old V5 when it was imported/VRT'd which would put it into category B1/€270 a year.

    To fix this, Is it as simple as getting a main dealer to confirm the emissions and filling out the 'other' section of section 4 on the RF111 / Change of particulars form?

    Would appreciate anyone else's experiences as it can't be the first time it's happened.

    Is it standard private car or a van or commercial vehicle? €710 would be the rate for a 1.9-2 litre pre 2008 car. I believe this is what commercial vehicles are put on for private use rather than the flat €333 rate.

    Does the car have a NCT or CVRT?
