Musicians and female vocalist sought for new project

    Hi everyone, veteran of the Irish music scene here. I'm putting together a new band project, based in Dublin, hopefully will be something quite ambitious and interesting.

    Ideally what I'm looking for is a female vocalist (with added guitar a bonus), keyboard player (good piano and hammond ideally), and possibly saxophone or trumpet, or something a little different. I'm on guitar and will also need a second guitarist (the more you're into effects pedals, the better!). We have a drummer and a bassist, so the core of the band is there - just needs the icing on the cake.

    Songwriters welcome - I see this as being a collaboration, leave the ego at the door sort of thing. I've recorded a lot of full formed instrumental demos, so there's plenty of room for lyric and melody writing. Of if you have your own full songs that fit the vibe, perfect. The idea is that we jam every out and see what works.

    There's no age limits; this is an inclusive and hopefully diverse group. Saying that the singer will likely be the frontperson, so will need a lot of energy. Time commitment is essential, experienced players a plus however if you are young and don't have much experience but you have the drive and passion then that's brilliant.

    I have a lot of contacts in the industry; labels, promoters, mangement companies, photographers, journos etc, so the idea would be to rehearse for a few months and then burst out with a fully formed thing - live show, recordings, videos, releases (physical as well as digital).
