    Hi there,

I have my nieces christening next weekend and I am godfather for it. I am looking to get her something financial that I can pay a little in to it over time. So when she is older she would have the money available to her.

Any suggestions for something like this?

Prize Bonds might be a simple solution? prizebonds.ie

I've heard of someone just putting in 50 euro each for Birthdays and Christmas into a separate savings account. The idea is that when the kid turns 21 you give them 2100 to spend. I like the idea but I haven't done it myself.
