Operating temp of gas boiler?

    What should the temperature on a modern gas boiler (not a combi boiler) be set to?


    mine is currently at 75? Is that to high?

    It's not too far off a reasonable setting, in that you need about 10 degrees above the hot water tank to get to the right temp in the tank, and anything below 60 in the hot water is running a risk of problems, so 75 is not far off. Depending on how the radiators were sized, you might need that sort of temp to get the rooms to the desired temperature if the weather goes cold. I would be tempted to leave well alone unless you're having problems with the system.
